The NetCityLed System, thanks to the presence of routers and antennas inside the lamp body, immediately allows the extension of the city Wi-Fi network to offer users (tourists, students, residents) a plurality of useful and free services. The use of the public lighting network makes it possible to create modular and economically efficient solutions even in the event of offering paid services.
NetCityLED, represents a real multi-function and connected station through which it is possible to implement a plurality of other services such as: parking management, monitoring of pollution levels, control of the state of use of garbage bins, detection of people and things nearby and connectivity. Thanks to the Wi-Fi and 5G Ready functionalities the public administration becomes easily accessible for anyone at any time and from any place and can provide services to the community for different uses and users throughout the day while minimising management costs.
The System is also prepared for integration with fibre optic networks and 5G Ready microcells. In this way it will be possible to realise, with investments and short times, an IoT platform from which both the public body (which will eventually have further sources of income) and more generally the entire economic and social ecosystem will benefit (in terms of improvement quality of life).
